The Bitcoin market bulls are attempting to regain control by driving the price beyond $112,500. The question now is whether altcoins will join the move. On Wednesday, Bitcoin climbed to $112,500, signalling that buyers are aiming to build on the recent rebound. This upswing spurred interest in spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, which saw net inflows of $332.7 million on Tuesday, according to SoSoValue. Adding to the bullish sentiment, gold (XAU) broke above $3,500 per ounce on Tuesday, setting a fresh record. Historically, Bitcoin has tended to track gold’s performance with a delay. Data shows that BTC’s median advance after gold hits a new all-time high is about 30% over three months and 225% within a year. Should the pattern hold, Bitcoin might climb into the $135,000–$145,000 range by early December. Crypto market data daily view. Bitcoin crashes under $80k: Is the BTC bull cycle over?

Image
Bitcoin (BTC) has plunged below $80,000 for the first time in weeks, sparking concern that the crypto bull cycle may be losing steam.  Over the weekend, BTC dropped as much as 11% to a 25-day low of $74,660 amid intensifying global trade tensions, following U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of steep new tariffs on key U.S. trading partners.  This broader macro shock triggered a global market rout, with the S&P 500 tumbling 6% on April 4, its worst performance since the pandemic-driven crash in March 2020 and nearly $300 billion in crypto liquidations over the weekend, mostly from overleveraged long positions. As of press time, the leading cryptocurrency is trading at $75,643, down more than 8% over the past 24 hours. BTC one-day price chart. Source: Finbold Is the Bitcoin bull market over?
