LIBRA Co-Creator Hayden Davis Doesn’t Deny Wallets Linked to the Project ‘Sniped’ Memecoin Launch

One of the co-founders of the controversial memecoin LIBRA says the project itself “sniped” the token right after it rolled out. In crypto trading, sniping refers to the practice of using trading bots or scripts to buy a newly launched coin ahead of big transactions or the entry of retail traders. Snipers get their edge by buying early in anticipation of a massive spike in trading volume with the arrival of other investors. In a new interview on the voidzilla YouTube channel, LIBRA co-creator Hayden Davis says he does not deny that wallets linked to the project sniped the memecoin on launch day. Ripple’s XRP has been making quite the headlines after the tumultuous relationship between the firm and the SEC ended. Ripple was ordered to pay a staggering $125 million in fines, which affected the price of XRP, causing it to dip. At press time, the altcoin was trading at $0.57, with a 2.73% drop over the past 24 hours. However, the asset surged 22% throughout the last seven days, following a 44% rise in daily volume. Tether blocks 6 wallets potentially linked to Finiko ponzi scheme

Tether has blocked six new wallets on the Ethereum network, likely due to being linked to the Russia Finiko ponzi scheme .  According to blockchain intelligence firm ChainArgos, the wallets might have made suspicious transfers to Finiko-linked addresses. According to Santiment, Bitcoin wallets holding one or fewer BTC have reached their highest coin count ever, a surge in accumulation since November. Cybersecurity team claims up to $2.1B in crypto stored in old wallets are at risk

The security firm urges those using wallets generated from 2011 to 2015 to transfer their assets to crypto wallets that were generated more recently.
