Following his appointment as the head of the newly planned presidential commission, Elon Musk has said that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will be audited by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The billionaire head of the agency has confirmed the audit is “gonna happen” in a post to X (formerly Twitter). Both Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy were tasked with leading the department amid Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential election win.
