Cardano (ADA), renowned for its innovative third-generation blockchain technology, is currently navigating a challenging market landscape. After a short-lived rally earlier in the month that momentarily pushed its price from $0.45 to $0.46, ADA has since retreated, hovering around the $0.45 mark. This pattern of rapid gains followed by setbacks reflects the ongoing volatility and investor uncertainty surrounding the cryptocurrency. Despite a rise in active addresses signaling a renewed interest in the platform, the overall market sentiment remains tepid. Technical indicators and a notable decline in trading volume cast shadows over ADA’s immediate price prospects, suggesting a continuation of the current bearish trend. X, formerly known as Twitter and under the ownership of Elon Musk , has achieved a significant milestone in its pursuit of becoming the ultimate “everything app.” The company recently obtained a money transmitter license from regulators in South Dakota on Nov. 27, marking a substantial leap forward in its ambition to dominate the financial services sector. The Money Transmitter License and X’s Increasing Influence The sought-after money transmitter license officially designates X as a Money Service Business (MSB) in South Dakota. It provides the company with the authorization to facilitate seamless cross-border money transfers. This regulatory approval solidifies X’s position as a key player in the financial landscape. It further puts it in the league of established entities such as PayPal and Stripe. As intermediaries, MSBs play a pivotal role in connecting individuals and businesses engaged in financial transactions. Elon Musk ’s vision for X as the...
Huobi Global has reportedly been sued by its founder Li Lin in Hong Kong. The founder has accused the crypto exchange of illegally using its Chinese trademark. HT tokens belonging to Lin’s brother were frozen by Huobi Chief Justin Sun earlier this year. Huobi Global has reportedly been sued by its founder Li Lin in Hong Kong. Lin has filed formal charges against the crypto exchange for allegedly infringing the trademark associated with the crypto firm. The lawsuit had no visible impact on the price of the Huobi Token (HT) at the time of writing. According to a report by Wu Talk, Li Lin used an entity called X-Spot Co. Ltd to sue Huobi Global for trademark infringement in the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region earlier today. Lin has accused the crypto exchange of re-using the “Huobi” trademark, which was not allowed to continue to be used in the original acquisition contract. Huobi Global was acquired by crypto entrepreneur and Tron ...
